Reviewing Emporio Armani Caffe

June 25, 2012

The Emporio Armani Caffe in Mall of the Emirates is swanky, expensive and super-stylish. Definitely not a mall eatery, the cafe looked like a five-star exclusive venue, complete with classy decor, dim lights, fashionably-dressed staff and a fancy bar area in the centre.

Boasting an impressive selection of mocktails and juices, I opted for the cafe’s most popular ‘Playa Dubai’ while my dining partner ordered an ‘Island’.  While my drink tasted rather ‘common’, my partner’s ‘Island’ was certainly very unique and addictive – bittersweet almond syrup, strawberries and fresh apples merging into one. Fabulous presentations won us over.

Our appetizers soon arrived. My partner’s braised beef with rocket salad was done to perfection and tasted utterly divine. My mushroom soup was quite good too, with a tangy hint to it.

The staff was quick and efficient and soon brought our main courses to the table. My oven-roasted baby chicken with rosemary flavoured sautéed potatoes was mouth-wateringly soft, delicious and light. It couldn’t get any better than this.

My partner, on the other hand, couldn’t resist the remarkable selection of pizzas and ordered one, having heard much about Emporio Armani Caffe’s specialty. He wasn’t disappointed.  It was, without a doubt, one of the best pizzas we’ve ever had in Dubai.

I wasn’t about to leave just yet and ordered my chocolate fondant served with vanilla ice cream for dessert. Thoroughly satisfying and pleasurable, I wiped clean my sweet treat in no time.

A stylish amalgamation of fabulous service, fabulous food, great presentation and glamorous  decor, Emporio Armani Caffe is a luxury eatery we are definitely going to visit again, very soon.

Here is a ten on ten for this one!
